Boondocks Brewing is here to change the way Filipinos see and drink beer. In 2010, Fred Calope grew tired of the uninspiring brews that dominated the Philippine beer scene. His travels—from Laoag to the world’s beer capitals—made him realize things could be better. Filipinos deserved better. So, in 2011, Fred put himself to work and began brewing in his kitchen. After years of experimentation, plenty of failures, and a whole lot of passion, Boondocks Brewing came to be.

We don’t claim to have the "perfect brew"—taste is subjective. But we do focus on creating bold, distinct flavors that every Filipino can appreciate. From those early batches to where we are now, we’ve been driven by adventure, discovery, and the pursuit of better beer.
